1970 Dodge Challenger Convertible – Rare Burnt Orange Mopar Project
One-Family Owned Since New
Offered on EBay NO RESERVE is this rare 1970 Dodge Challenger
Convertible, a genuine E-Body Mopar that has remained in the same
family since new and shows 90,000 original miles.
Finished in its original and highly desirable Burnt Orange color, this
Challenger spent approximately the last 15 years stored indoors before
being brought back to running and driving condition. While it remains a
complete and highly collectible example, this car should be viewed as
a restoration candidate and will require restoration work to reach its
full potential.
Power comes from a correct 1970-specification 318ci V8 and a correct
1970 transmission, both installed in the early 1980s after the
originals were replaced with components sourced from another 1970
Challenger. The engine starts easily, runs well, and does not exhibit
any major smoking, knocking, or leaking concerns. The transmission
shifts through all gears properly, making the car capable of being
driven and moved under its own power.
The body received one repaint in the early 2000s in its original Burnt
Orange color. While the car presents well from a distance, it is not
a show car and should not be mistaken for a restored example. There
